Change the camera's native lens mount by removing four easily accessible screws. Adjust backfocus with the included shim kit. One lens mount is included, and additional mounts can be purchased as accessories.

  • Built-In 1 TB NVMe SSD

    After your high-speed video has been captured to the camera's 64 or 128 GB memory buffer, you can trim down your video via the Playback screen on the built-in display, then quickly transfer footage to the camera's internal NVMe SSD for safe keeping.

  • Dual USB-C Ports

    After your high-speed video has been captured to the camera's 64 or 128 GB memory buffer, you can trim down your video via the Playback screen on the built-in display, then quickly transfer footage to an external USB-C SSD. Chronos supports up to 20 Gbps with USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 drives.

  • Full Sized SD-Card Slot

    For the ultimate convenience, footage can also be transferred to a full-sized SD card. Quickly save H.264 or H.265 videos, then view them on virtually any computer as MPEG-4 videos without the need for further editing.

  • Gigabit Ethernet via USB-C Adapter

    After your high-speed video has been captured to the camera's 64 or 128 GB memory buffer, use a USB-C to Gigabit Ethernet adapter to save footage from the camera directly to a networked drive. The Chronos REST API also allows for automation and remote control to be tailored to your needs.

  • Wi-Fi via USB-C Adapter

    Wirelessly connect and control your Chronos via a Wi-Fi adapter. Mobile and desktop apps will be available in early February to allow for direct pairing with your Chronos for intuitive remote control and monitoring.

Resolutions & Frame Rates

The Chronos allows you to trade image resolution (i.e. the number of pixels in the image) for temporal resolution (i.e. the speed of the high-speed capture, or Frames Per Second).


The maximum bandwidth in any configuration will be equal to approximately 12 Gigapixels per second, or 12 billion pixels per second.
